Meet Adra Armstrong.
An Original Anthropomorphic Character by Eliza Grace Queen
Growing up, Adra Armstrong, often felt overlooked as a raccoon. She never really enjoyed the same things as her friends and often felt like her size spoke for her before she got the chance to speak for herself. She was told she was “too dangerous” to be friends with the little animals and
“too cute” to hang out with the big predators. Adra loved her friends and family, but she knew she was not going to be happy following in the steps of all the raccoons before her. She wanted to go out and see the world, and not just this one, but others too!
With a lot of hard work, patience, and support from her friends and family, Adra became not only the first raccoon in her family to go to college, but the first valedictorian raccoon at her university. She was not done there, though. Adra worked tirelessly, in a field filled with what used to be only the strongest, fastest, and biggest predators, and became the first raccoon astronaut in space. Now, she is a world-renowned space explorer and a hero to any animal who feels like they don’t quite fit in. She found her place, and they can too, because everyone deserves to be happy.
